Buio luminoso – Bright Darkness

In art approximation presupposes an initial distance, which offers a synoptic view, such as the view from outer space renders the globe of the earth to the blue planet. Approximation, though, requires time: to approach a topic, a genre, to learn and to find oneself. For paintings the necessary distance is achieved when they are exposed outside the atelier, in another scope, which offers the necessary space for approximation.
