‘Boa Votiva’ fa parte delle serie ‘Forgive Me’, dedicata al tema dei diritti dei migranti al quale lo studio Imma Parenti cerca di contribuire con le proprie opere. Dal 2013 oltre 19000 migranti sono morti nel Mediterraneo. La Rabbia diventa veicolo ora necessario allo sdegno per una strage continua. Rabbia, perché apparteniamo alla stessa specie di quei morti, Rabbia perché apparteniamo alla stessa specie di chi li sta lasciando morire. Rabbia perché è successo, perché sta succedendo, perché continuerà a succedere.  L’installazione ‘Boa Votiva’ è immersiva, siamo ora allo stesso livello, immersi e vicini ai fratelli che non riusciamo a salvare.

‘Boa Votiva’ is part of the ‘Forgive Me’ series, dedicated to the theme of migrants’ rights to which the Imma Parenti studio tries to contribute with its works. Since 2013, over 19,000 migrants have died in the Mediterranean. Anger now becomes a necessary vehicle for indignation for a continuous massacre. Anger, because we belong to the same species as those dead, Anger because we belong to the same species as those who are letting them die. Anger because it happened, because it is happening, because it will continue to happen. ‘Boa Votiva’ is an immersive installation, we are now at the same level, immersed and close to the brothers we cannot save.
